Very good spotting scope you can get great pictures of the moon and planes.!!
First picture is of a radio antenna about a half mile from my house, roughly 2000 feet tall. The second is of the light at its top, from my phone mounted to this scope, which doesn't do the image justice. From my naked eye I could see the bands on the lights lens. For fifty bucks this is an amazing buy.
Picked this up to use on range days for siting in. Still waiting to use, but I have tested out at home and I know it will be great. I tested on houses down the street and can see house numbers clear as day from well over 100 yards. So for what I'm looking for this will be more than adequate especially for the price range.
The cell phone adaptor seems like a cheap piece of plastic, but for what it's needed for it will be perfectly fine. When I use the adaptor for my iPhone and attach it to the scope I can see a large steady image down range for siting. Of course like any scope it will bounce with movement around, but as long as your aren't moving around it's very steady and pictures are 100% when zoomed in. Not sure what max range will be, but for what I purchased it for it's more than adequate.
Overall size is a bit big and bulky for just having around, but on the range it will be great.
We use our scopes for bird watching and it is good to have a spare scope with us when we have guests. We liked this one for the opportunity to take pictures through your phone camera lens. The set-up was a balancing act and the photo not clear compared to the scope on its own. The scope is not bad on clarity and served the purpose of an inexpensive scope.
